We are pleased to announce the launch of our NMEA-2-WIFI. The NMEA-2-WIFI unit provides a low cost method of setting up a wireless network on board and to use available Apps on your iPhone, iPad or PC to display all your electronic data including position, AIS data, depth, wind, compass etc.
Simple to set up, the NMEA-2-WIFI unit has 2 NMEA inputs which are multiplexed to a single high
speed data output which transmits NMEA 0183 data over WIFI for viewing on a smart phone or
tablet using suitable Apps or a PC Navigation program, and provides 2 way communication
between the WIFI device and any suitable NMEA devices. With 2 inputs, it can accept NMEA 0183
data at 4800 from any GPS, Chart plotter or Instruments, plus a 38400 baud input from any AIS
receiver or transponder, so you only need one unit to collect and transmit all the navigation data
to your portable device over WIFI.

Comar CSD-300 – a new dedicated display for managing AIS targets | March 2011
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new CSD-300 display. Specifically designed for vessels that require AIS data as primary information, the unit is perfect for managing, sorting and displaying all AIS targets and for locating specific vessels by name or by MMSI number or category. The unit is supplied in 2 variants, either as a stand alone display for connection to an existing AIS transponder or receiver on board, or as the CSD-300R which has an integral AIS receiver.
To control the numerous functions available on the CSD-300, the unit has a simple menu structure with clear instructions at every step. The unit can track up to 5 selected targets, displaying track histories, plus live detailed information on any one vessel. Variable parameters for CPA and TCPA can be set and modified according to user requirements and the unit has a powerful internal audible alarm. Data is displayed on a 6.5” high resolution display overlaid onto worldwide background cartography or as a “radar” style display with range rings. For more detailed cartography, the unit has a slot for a Jeppesen C-MAP C card.

The CSA-300 is a new compact, state of the art Class A transponder which is fully IMO Compliant with MED Wheelmark and FCC approvals. It comes complete with an integral 12 Channel GPS receiver, external GPS antenna with 10m cable, remote junction box for external interfaces, mounting kit, user and installation manual. Operating voltage is 12/24VDC, theTransmitter is 12.5 Watt and there is NMEA 0183 and RS232 interfaces.

Comar Systems Antenna Splitters | November 2008
The Comar range of Antenna splitters are designed to allow either AIS receive only devices or AIS Transponders to share the main VHF Antenna used by the VHF Radio thus removing the need and expense of installing an additional VHF antenna. The splitters are built to the highest standards to ensure that the performance of the AIS and VHF Radio equipment are not compromised.
